HH Sheikha Mozah Nasser al-Misnad receiving Unesco’s Victor Hugo gold medal from outgoing Unesco director-general Koichiro Matsuura in Paris yesterday. Sheikha Mozah, the Unesco Special Envoy for Basic and Higher Education, praised Matsuura “for doing a wonderful job” during his term of office. She later held talks with Irina Bokova, the new director-general of Unesco.
