IAAF WJC 2018 candidate

it's official! The IAAF World Junior Championships in Athletics are the world championships for junior aged athletes (19 years old or younger on 31 December in the year of the competition), organized by the International Association of Athletics Federations. It is held biennially since 1986. The last edition was in Eugene (2014 USA), net one will be in Kazan (2016 RUS).

Comunica-se que a CBAt, com o apoio do Comitê Olímpico Brasileiro, do Ministério do Esporte, do Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro e da Prefeitura da Cidade do Rio de Janeiro estará apresentando a candidatura do Rio de Janeiro para ser sede do evento mundial juveniles de atletismo 2018 (cbat).

Er was al eerder sprake van maar nu heeft Brazilië zich middels een speciaal comité kandidaat gesteld voor de WJK atletiek in 2018. Zal wel Augustus worden, hoewel Februari lekkerder weer heeft....
