doha • The Heir Apparent and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Environment and Natural Reserves H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani issued a decision banning import of falcons to the state during the period between September every year through end of January of the following year. The decision also bans import of Shaheen falcons more than two years old and grants permission to import of three types of falcons provided their ages don’t exceed one nestling year. The falcons are Al Tab’a, Al Jabeliyah and Turkish falcon. The decision also bans import of hybrid falcons
