het zijn rare dagen in Qatar.
gedurende ramadan is iedereen een beetje van slag, zo lijkt het.
rare verkeersopstoppingen op de meest gekke momenten, drukte in de winkels op onverklaarbare tijden, en een ander werkritme. iedereen werkt maar zes uurtjes.
bij aspire is dat voor de administratie van 0800 tot 1400 uur, en voor ons binnen de sport van 1600-2200uur. dat is toch een voordeel voor ons, maar lastig als je dingen moet regelen met admin. voordeel is ook de uitverkoop, de vele aanbiedingen en speciale koopjes gedurende ramadan. nadeel is dat als je wilt sporten dit 'smorgens vroeg moet. voordeel is dan wel weer dat we thuis lekker lunchen terwijl iedereen vast.

Todays is the Torch Relay Ceremony! This is the lighting of the torch which will be carried around Asia, will take place tonight at around 10 pm in the Doha Golf Club. It will be broadcasted live on Al Jazeera Sports and Qatar Radio tonight starting 9:45 pm.

Trivia:
The journey of the flame will start on Tuesday October 10 and will be the longest in Asian Games history!!!
It will cover 15 countries over more than 50,000 km in 55 days with more than 3500 torch bearers.
The official Torch Relay Ambassador is H.E. Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani
The Torch will return to Qatar on November 25, and will be carried throughout Qatar until December 1st where it will reach Khalifa Stadium where the Opening Ceremony of the 15th Asian Games will take place
