Ana Ivanovic, the latest heartthrob of tennis fans worldwide, slipped into Doha almost unnoticed on Monday, a week before the start of the Feb 18-24 $2.5mn Qatar Total Open.
"I am here early to practice and get used to the conditions in Doha," Ivanovic said as she settled down to have lunch at the Four Seasons Hotel yesterday.
Ivanovic, the World No. 2, is the top seed in the Doha tournament which also has Maria Sharapova, Venus Williams, Svetlana Kuznetsova and Sania Mirza participating.
