"Like a Rolling Stone," "Blowin' in the Wind" en natuurlijk ook "The Times They Are a-Changin'" zijn een must voor alle amerikanen en zeker voor US civil rights/anti-war bewegingen. En in 2008 roemde de Pulitzer Prize jury hem met een speciaal citaat voor een prijs: "his profound impact on popular music and American culture, marked by lyrical compositions of extraordinary poetic power."

goed, ik hou niet zo van Dylan maar wel van zijn liedjes. dus heb ik vandaag naar Joan Baez geluisterd (Joan Baez sings Dylan) en naar een heel mooi album 'northern light southern cross' van The Band uit ook alweer lang geleden.
