colorful surrealist works at display........
The exhibition: The Magic of Miro, consisting 69 works -dated between 1962-1983- by Joan Miro (1983-1983) and 23 photographs of the Spanish artist, taken by gallery owner /collector Alfredo Melgar, has already traveled to the Brazilian cities of Sao Paulo and Curitiba and is currently shown at Caixa Cultural Rio de Janeiro.
Joan Miro was a painter, sculptor and ceramicist known for his colorful surrealist works.
"The exhibition reveals a more intimate and personal side of the Catalan artist's world by including sketches and notes, as well as works produced in pencil on paper, during the last five years of his life."
