333 scholen

Data collected this year will add to the rapidly growing databases of information within the Supreme Education Council, which allows education outcomes and progress to be assessed.
The Council was established by an Emiri decree in 2002. It serves as the primary authority on education policy in Qatar and, with its three institutes, is leading the effort to transform the nation’s schools into a modern, world-class education system.

THE data collection and management office of the Evaluation Institute is set to start its annual intensive data collection project for all 333 schools in Qatar, including Ministry of Education, independent, private Arabic, international and community schools, today.
The enumeration process, which will continue until December 13, collects information and educational data from schools, students, classrooms, teachers, principals and parents that will be analysed and used to evaluate the schools on various levels.
“These data are of paramount importance to educational reform in Qatar. They help ensure sound, informed decision-making on the important issues facing our education system. The Evaluation Institute will conduct an in-depth statistical analysis of the collected data and share them with our leadership and our citizens,” said Adel al-Sayed, director of the institute.
