The president of Qatar Football Association (QFA), HE Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Bin Ahmed Al Thani, said in a press release that a series of mistakes committed by the players were mainly behind the team's defeat from Australia in their first leg match of Asian Zone qualification at the final stage of FIFA 2010 World Cup held at Sun Corp stadium in Brisbane, Australia on Wednesday.
QFA president confirmed that despite competitors were known as strong team , but country's team performance since start of the match was accompanied by a number of errors, where players did not lived up to expectations.
On other hands, HE Sheikh Hamad asserted that the rainy atmosphere prior to the match kicks – off was another factor caused frustration for the national team members.
QFA president concluded the press release, stressing on the importance of avoiding such mistakes and gear up for the upcoming five matches in country's team respective group.
