HH THE Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani yesterday issued a decree, establishing a supreme committee to supervise the implementation of the Qatar Vision 2030 programme.
The committee will be chaired by HH the Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor al-Thani, its deputy chairman.
The decree stated the committee would be powered to supervise the implementation of Qatar Vision plans and strategies.
The committee may set up subsidiary work groups selected from within the Supreme Committee or outside.
It may also task experts with conducting studies or consultancies required for the committee.
