Tickets for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2010 is on public sale from Teusday at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex and designated stands at Villaggio, City Centre and Landmark.

Tickets will be sold from 10am – 9:00pm.

Tickets can also be purchased thorough the new renovated website of the Qatar Tennis Federation (QTF): www.qatartennis.org.

QTF is using the electronic process for tickets sales as an initiative to provide tennis fans all over the country and abroad a more comfortable alternative to purchase their tickets. By logging into the QTF website and clicking on the link for tickets sales, you will be able to buy your tickets for the most anticipated Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2010.

The Qatar ExxonMobil Open is one of the most prestigious tournaments in professional men’s tennis and is set to take place from the January 4 to 9, 2010 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.

The event is currently part of the ATP World Tour 250 series of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) and is the first tournament of the year.

For this year’s edition of the Qatar ExxonMobil Tour No. 1 tennis sensation, Roger Federer, No. 2 Spanish superstar, Rafael Nadal, No. 7 Nikolay Davydenko - who last November in London was crowned champion of the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals 2009 - and No.10 Frenchman Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will be among many other tennis players who will come to Doha this January to battle for the trophy and a share of the $1024000 in prize money.

The Main Draw for the 2010 edition of the Qatar ExxonMobil Open will start on January 4 and the final will be held on January 9. The Qualifying event for the Qatar ExxonMobil Open 2010 will take place between 2nd and 3rd of January 2010.

Matches are scheduled to start from Monday through Thursday at 3:00pm, while the Doubles Final is scheduled for January 8 at 4:00pm and the Singles Final on January 9 at 6:00pm. Four matches will be played daily at the center court and many more at the outside courts of the Stadium.

There will be 32 players in the main draw while the Doubles will consist in 16 teams.
