Nada Zeidan

The Jill of all trades told Qatar Tribune that special classes for women are being organised for women to help them prepare them for participating in sports. She said, “As a sports icon, it’s more of a responsibility than anything else to train women in sports both for relaxation and for competitive games. I am also visiting ladies clubs and lecturing to increase social awareness among them the women to keep them active and strong”.

Some could not accept the fact that a woman is their counterpart. Earlier, rally driving was a monopoly to the men and when I came they were threatened by my success. Many were even jealous and tried to put me down. All I did was to stay focused and determined.”

“I hope to channelise my effort to get women into sports in the right direction and teaming up with Aspire will help me do that very well”. Through lectures, workshops and different sporting activities, women will be encouraged to take part in sports and make our country proud, Nada said in her concluding words.
