The Prime Minister H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani yesterday opened the sixth Doha Cultural Festival at the Qatar National Theatre. Addressing the opening ceremony, Sheikh Meshaal bin Jassem bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of the National Council for Culture, said the presence of the Prime Minister at the ceremony “was an evidence of the interest of our wise leadership in the culture as a strategic dimension in realising the development that Qatar is currently witnessing in all spheres."
He noted that Doha has become a meeting point of cultures and civilisations from all the sisterly and friendly countries.
