DOHA, April 01, 2009 – The second edition of the GCC Girls Athletics Championship organised by the Qatar Association of Athletics Federation will kick off on April 05, 2009 at the Qatar sport club. The two–day event will feature 32 athletes representing four GCC countries, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and hosts Qatar.


het is nou niet een overweldigende deelname maar 32 atletes is er een begin.
tot nu toe zijn de wedstrijden hier voor de meisjes van een zeer laag niveau en is de training nog in een begin stadium. dat de de meiden in beweging komen is al heel wat!
