Major Archbishop Baselios Mar Clemis on his arrival at Doha International Airport yesterday

THE supreme head of the Syro-Malankara Catholic rite in Kerala, Major Archbishop Baselios Mar Cleemis, arrived in Qatar yesterday on a three-day visit.
A warm welcome was accorded to the Major Archbishop by members of various Catholic denominations.
Parish Vicar Tomasito Veneracion led the gathering.
The Major Archbishop was earlier received at the Doha International Airport by community members on his arrival from Thiruvananthapuram.
The Malakara Cultural Association will tomorrow accord a reception to Major Archbishop at the
newly built Catholic Church of the Lady of the Rosary in Abu Hamour. Bishop Paul Hinder of Abu Dhabi and Indian Ambassador George Joseph will attend the function
