ramadan drukte

Laundries across the city have been frantically working to serve the huge rush of customers since the beginning of Ramadan. There is pressure on the cleaners as the holy month has coincided with the end of summer holidays and re-opening of the schools.

Several customers said they have been encountering a delay in the service, as their laundries are flooded with clothes.

"Normally I get my work done in our laundry in one day but now it takes at least four days. Anyone who visits the outlet can see the bundles of clothes piled up inside," said a resident, staying in a Doha suburb
