Nee, CvC is even uit de hectiek van de (inter)nationale sportwereld ondergedoken in de oase van Doha. THE Advisory Council held its weekly regular meeting in Doha yesterday under the chairmanship of its Speaker HE Mohamed bin Mubarak al-Kholeifi. The council considered issues on its agenda and took appropriate decisions.

SYRIAN President Bashar al-Assad received in Damascus yesterday credentials of Majed Ghanim al-Ali as Qatar’s ambassador to Syria. The presentation ceremony was attended by Syrian Foreign Minister Farouq al-Shara, Presidential Affairs Minister Ghassan Lahham and Qatari embassy staff. – QNA
