garden festival: indian food

Doha’s popular Indian restaurant group “The Garden” to organise summer Indian food festival for the seventh consecutive year from June 28 till August 7. This six week long festival is named as “Summer in Garden -Season 7” and will feature cuisine from different parts of Indian sub continent like Kasmir, Punjab, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Andhra, Kerala, Tamilnadu etc.

“In 2003, when we introduced Indian food festival for the first time in Qatar, customers welcomed the event with a good rush every day. This was our inspiration to make this festival an every year affair’, said Jeffry Tomson, Operation Manager of “The Garden” restaurant.

“Gaining from the past years experience and to meet our guests’ high expectations, this year our Master chef Kalimudhin and his team have spent a lot of time in research and perfection of some of the authentic forgotten mouthwatering dishes like Karimeen pollichathu, Hamour Jaitooni, Kacche Gosht Ke Biryani from the traditional kitchens of India. This year again we look forward to delight your taste buds,” said Jeffry.
